Warren Masemola Dedicates His Masked Singer Win to His Son

Warren Masemola Dedicates His Masked Singer Win to His Son. This past Saturday, Warren Masemola was crowned the winner of the second season of The Masked Singer SA. In the finale, he beat former Miss South Africa Shudufhadzo Musida as Blue Crane, fellow actor Aubrey Poo as Owl and gospel superstar SbuNoah as Gold.

The multi-award winning actor entered the singing competition as Giraffe. At first the detectives (judges) were convinced giraffe was Zakes Bantwini. As the competition progresses, many thought the man behind the masks was Robot Boii. But it came quite clear towards the end, that Warren was actually the celebrity wearing the giraffe mask. How cool is it that his son Mansa-Kgomo Masemola’s favorite animal is a giraffe!

On more heartwarming news, the finale aired on the same night as Mansa-Kgomo’s fourth birthday. Warren then found it fit to dedicate the win to his son. He also thanked everyone, from the detectives, audience as well as viewers at home for the support.

We have a new champion!

I had a blast, fun, time of my life on season 2 of Masked Singer SA…thanks to the detectives, studio audience and viewers at home for making Giraffe a winner.

This is for my son, Mansa-Kgomo Masemola 🏆
,” Warren said in gratitude.

The  celebrity singing competition features well known personalities, who perform under the cover of flamboyant costumes and facial masks to conceal their identities. Viewers have been voting for the ones the would love to keep on the show each week.
