Prince Kaybee Reveals Kenny Kunene Was His High School Teacher. Kenny Kunene has made a name for himself as a politician, businessman, socialite and ex convict. Many however, don’t know that prior to his conviction, Kunene was a teacher by profession.
Kunene He attended Vista University, now known as the Central University of Technology. He studied a teaching degree, which led to a career as an English and history teacher.
One person, who crossed paths with Kunene during that time was Prince Kaybee. Taking to social media, the multi-award winning musician and entrepreneur spoke highly of Kunene, who happens to be his former high school teacher. Kaybee describes him as a father figure and protector, who still comes through for him to date.
“You’ve been like a Father and a protector to me for so many years since you were my Grade 10 high school teacher to your political success today @kenny_kunene . Keep Going and more life to you❤️,” Prince Kaybee captioned the recent picture he took with Kunene.
Even though he is no longer a teacher education is still a big part of his life. Earlier this year, Kunene intervened after learning that one primary school that teaches Shona language as a subject.He visited the school, Esikhisini Primary School in Atteridgeville Saulsville Pretoria in Gauteng, to stop teaching the foreign language.
“Today we went to Esikhisini Primary School to make sure that Shona is not taught at that school and we also made a call for Chair of SGB who is a Zimbabwean to be removed. Indeed some kids a from Zim and they must be replaced by SA kids. Salute,” Kenny said.
