CemAir Releases A Statement Regarding the Shamiso Flight Incident. Currently at the top of social media trends are Shamiso and CemAir. This comes after the YouTube content creator and MTV base TV host, was kicked out of the airline on Sunday.
Shamiso went live on her Instagram page about what went down before she was forcefully taken out of the plane. She was speaking to a friend over the phone, and she used the F* word, which according to the airline is being disruptive. There was an altercation between her and the flight attendants, leading to the intervention of the police. In the viral video, Shamiso can be seen having a conversation with policemen and airline personnel who reportedly asked her to leave the flight.
Some of the people who claim to have been on the same plane are on Shamiso’s side. One event took to Hello Peter, to share that Shamiso was not at fault.
“A young lady got thrown out a flight cause some Indian air hostess named Shamika said she was being disruptive. What is surprising is that we were seating next to her, and she never disrupted us.”
“The hostess and the pilot even got the nerve to come back and shout at us telling us we will be taken out as we were also standing out for the lady, we were treated like tr*sh while we paid our money,” they said
One passenger also said, “Hi, I am the guy who was sitting in front of you, please if you ever need witnesses, I am available. We fought even after they tricked you out of the flight. We were also threatened to be thrown out cause of sticking out for you.”
As the saying goes, there are three sides to a story. CemAir has also shared their side of events. They state that Shamiso boarded the flight late, became unruly and abuse, refusing to follow cabin crew instructions. The captain was engaged, but when the parties failed to come to an agreement, the police was called. Shamiso was thus escorted out of the flight. She found a way to free herself from the police, and tried to gain access to the aircraft flight deck., which is a serious offense.
CemAir also states that they will support the police in their investigation as well as potential prosecution of the matter. They also apologized to their passengers whose flight was delayed for 90 minutes.
