Thandiswa Mazwai’s Daughter Malaika Sings Her Praises
Thandiswa Mazwai’s Daughter Malaika Sings Her Praises. Without a doubt Thandiswa Mazwai has a family that cares about her. Just the other day, her baby sister Ntsiki Mazwai spoke highly of her.
The outspoken Poet, musician and TV personality shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) that Thandiswa was performing in New York, USA, promoting her latest album, SANKOFA. Ntsiki hailed her as an artists and businesswoman. In another post, She added that Thandiswa is not a white capital creation, and has never sold out for political gigs.
Now another family member, Malaika Mazwai has taken to social media to hype her mom. Tagging Thandiswa, she shared that her multi-award winning mommy is shooting for NPR Tiny Desk today. Tiny Desk Concerts is a video series of live concerts hosted by NPR Music at the desk of All Songs Considered host Bob Boilen in Washington, D.C. The proud Malaika gushed over how cool her mom is, and we definitely agree with her!
“hi guys, my mom is @thandiswamazwai and she’s shooting for NPR tiny desk today. I always thought she was pretty cool but I want to officially say she IS cool. Thanks.”
“(btw very proud of you mama),” she said.
