Pearl Modiadie On Whether Or Not She Will Return As A Zaziwa Host. This was one of the most loved talk shows on TV. On Zaziwa accomplished South African Television personalities were invited to share the music that helped shape their life. The show aired every Sunday at 20:30 on SABC 1.

Sadly even god things do come to an end, and so did Zaziwa. In February 2017 SABC1 ripped Zaziwa from the schedule and transplanted it to Sunday nights at 20:30, a lifestyle television “death slot”. As predicted, viewers abandoned the show by the millions. In August of the same year, Zaziwa was dumped from the schedule entirely to make space for yet another rerun of Shaka Zulu. Despite some promises that the show will return, it seems as if, its gone for good.

Pearl Modiadie was the host and she did a great job. On her Instagram page in 2019 when she was asked if Zaziwa will ever return to SABC1, Pearl said that “When it does, I will put it out there right now I don’t know. I’ve enjoyed it for the past 5 years, let’s wait and see what happens next“.

The question has come out once again, and the media personality and actress has a different answer. One social media user asked Pearl if there is a chance of Zaziwa coming back TV. Should it return they also asked for it to be an hour long live show. In her response, Pearl said she loved the show as well, but there is no chance of her coming back as host.
