A State of the Art Library Launched in Honor of Anele Tembe. What a beautiful way to remember a deceased loved one. Anele Tembe might have passed on, but her memory will be kept alive, thanks to her loved ones.
On Tuesday, a state-of-the art modern library was launched at the Durban Girls’ College, in her honor. Anele matriculated at the institute which is located KwaZulu-Natal in 2017. The library, is described as a sanctuary, a museum, and a workshop. The library was designed by an Old Girl, Andrea Kleinloog (Class of 2000), marking the importance of recognizing the standard of excellence upheld by the Durban Girls’ College Community.
According to the school’s Instagram post, the Tembe family generously donated towards the renewal of the library in memory of their beloved daughter.
Anele Tembe Library will be open for viewing on Friday 2 February.
Nelly, died after she fell off from the balcony of Pepper Hotel in Cape Town two years ago. This happened after an altercation her fiancé Kiernan AKA Forbes. The multi-award winning rapper, TV personality and entrepreneur passed away last year after he was shot outside Wish restaurant in Durban on February 10.
