Lynn Forbes Shares Her Thoughts on Whether AKA’s Case Will Be Solved. Since AKA’s passing, many have been waiting in anticipation for justice to prevail. Sadly despite all these break throughs being made, there hasn’t been any promise of arrests as yet.

AKA was shot dead on February 10 outside a restaurant on Florida Road in Durban. The multi-award winning rapper, TV personality and entrepreneur was gunned down together with his close friend, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane. The pair are thought to have been on their way to a nightclub for a performance as part of AKA’s birthday celebrations when they were shot.

A couple of days ago, Police minister Bheki Cele made some revelations when giving the latest updates on the murder investigation. Cele said they were keeping [close] to witnesses who knew about the orchestration behind AKA’s murder.

We have found the getaway car, the gun has been found. They have found two people who I know for sure are kept safe because they know very well what happened on the particular day, ” he said.

AKA’s mother Lynn Forbes recently did an interview on The Episode podcast. Glammy, as she is famously known spoke about Cassper Beef, Ama Kip Kip, Legacy, Mass Country, among other things. On justice for her son, she shared that she prefers not to put too much energy on the case. At the moment she has just accepted that her son is gone.

Justice that make sense for Lynn at the moment is seeing AKA being celebrated. As far as the law is concerned she is not really sure if they will ever get justice. Lynn also feels like arresting the person who pulled the trigger and leaving the mastermind behind the assassination won’t be justice.
