Generations: The Legacy’s Rebaone Kgosimore Said to Have Been Axed From the Soapie. Playing a lead role in such a big production can put pressure on any actor. All eyes were on Rebaone Kgosimore as he assumed the role of Paul Moroka Jr in Generations: The Legacy.
Before being cast on the hit SABC1 soapie, Rebaone has had a couple of roles under his belt. He has acted in various shows like One Piece on Netflix, Scandal!, Noughts and Crosses. He has also been on Shuga Down South 2, Outlander and on Roots as Kalabi. The versatile actor is also a great theater actor, and his shows include Antony and Cleopatra, Pinocchio, King Kong, The Adventure of Oliver Twist and Under The Baobab Tree. He has also featured in films like Vice Versus as Ben, Feel it as a Soldier, Amen – D and Babalas as the University student.
No one, it seems had a problem with his acting back then. However, when he Joined the cast of Generations: The Legacy, viewers started doubting his talents. In the soapie he joined the mighty Moroka family, as Kabisi Moroka’s son and a lot was expected from him. Clearly he did not impress the masses, and fans of the show were forever complaining about him. Sadly, it seems like the fans won, and now Rebaone is out of work.
According to a couple of reports on social media, the show dropped him, probably from viewers’ pressure. He is yet to confirm or deny the issue, and Generations: The Legacy has also not said anything on the matter.
