Moja LOVE Channel Responds to Reports That A Suspected Drug Dealer Died After Sizok’thola Visit
Moja LOVE Channel Responds to Reports That A Suspected Drug Dealer Died After Sizok’thola Visit. Sizok’thola is one of the most interesting shows currently aired on Moja LOVE TV channel. It always tops the chats, when it comes to DStv’s most loved shows.
Xolani Khumalo is the front-man and presenter of this newest crime-busting reality show, which airs every Sunday. On the show, Khumalo and his team take matters into their own hands by cracking down on crime and drugs dealers. After identifying the perpetrators, they hand them over to the police. Sizok’thola hard stance on drugs and crime has been endorsed by Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi, who also recently launched his own anti-drug campaign against nyaope. Not only that, a lot of viewers are impressed with Khumalo and his teams over the work that they do. Every time the show drops and episode, they receive their flowers.
Some of the viewers though feel that Khumalo and his crew somehow go physical on the alleged drug dealers. They reason that normally the dealers are stubborn at the beginning, but after the show returns from adverts, they are cooperative. This has them concluding that the guys are beaten or tortured until they come out with the truth. Whatever the case, at the end of each and every episode, drugs come out.
Recently, things turned for the worst, as one alleged dealer died, apparently after the Sizok’thola crew visited him. According to a report in City Press, Robert ‘Kicks’ Varrie was declared dead after being interrogated during filming of Sizokuthola. He was then dropped off at the Thelle Mogoerane regional hospital in Vosloorus. Circumstances surrounding his death are still sketchy.
Moja LOVE, has released a statement addressing the issue. The channel is currently investigating circumstances around the death. Moja LOVE is waiting for the autopsy, which will reveal the exact cause of death. They promise to cooperate with any investigation that may be initiated by the law enforcers. In conclusion, Moja LOVE sent heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased.
