Thandiswa Mazwai Celebrates Her Daughter Malaika Graduating. One of the proudest moment any parent can have is seeing your child graduate from school. After all those years of grinding and hard work, they have finally made it.
Thandiswa Mazwai is going through that beautiful feeling as her one and only child Malaika Mazwai is a new graduate. If you follow the multi-award winning singer and songwriter, you will know just how much she loves her daughter and wants the best for her. A year ago, when Malaika completed her studies, Thandiswa expressed her excitement that her daughter, who she has been supporting since day 1 is about to start a career in TV production.
Now the celebration day has come, making Thandiswa even more proud. Malaika graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture Medium from film, television, and performing arts institution, AFDA. Just like any proud student, the 22-year-old is over the moon and shared images and videos from her graduation ceremony. Her mom also did the same, decorating her Instagram with her bundle of joy’s achievement.
We can’t wait to see her take on the industry, just like a number of her family members. Malaika’s father is non other than Stoan Seate, who is also a multi-award winning musician, actor and a renowned TV personality. As for her aunts, Ntsiki and Nomsa Mazwai, they also hold their own in the industry doing music and TV.

Another person who celebrated Malaika is her aunt Ntsiki. The poet, musician and TV personality is also proud of her niece for leveling up her academics. The two get along very well, and always defend each other, more so against some tweeps.
