Check Out the New METRO FM Lineup. The annual radio shuffling season is upon us, and this year things are even more hectic. One radio station that has made some major changes on their lineup this year is METRO FM.

Just a week ago, the SABC radio station bid farewell to one of their longest serving presenter, Mo Flava. The media personality, DJ and actor has been with METRO FM for a whole 8 years. Mo Flava started with the leading radio station when he hosted the Afternoon Drive show with Masechaba Khumalo. Prior to his exit, he was the man behind the Wake UP On METRO FM breakfast show. Mo Flava worked alongside Khutso Theledi, Lindi Serame and Owen Hannie.

The radio station has shared more changes to their lineup. Some personalities have been let go, new talent is joining, and there are some return soldiers. DJ Sabby will take over breakfast from Mo Flava, and he will be co-hosting alongside Candice ‘Kandice Kardashian’ Coulsen.

Former METRO FM presenter Somizi is making a major return to the station. The media personality and reality show star will join Khutso, and they will take on ‘The Bridge’ from Mondays to Fridays between 09:00 – 12:00. Somizi will be a lead contributor the popular Ask A Man segment.

Another return soldier is Paul Mtirara with the show ‘Let’s Talk about it’ , which will broadcast from Monday to Thursday from 21:00 – 00:00. This show will bring life to this night time channel, with a combination of light talk fused with music to keep you company as you burn the midnight oil.

The station also welcomes  Faith Mangope as the new host of ‘METRO FM Talk’, from Monday to Thursday 19:00 –21:00, replacing Ayabonga Cawe. Cawe has been moved to the newly launched digital offering ‘Metro FM OFF-AIR, which will flight once a week.
