SA Real Housewives Cast Members Who Went On to Become Best Friends
SA Real Housewives Cast Members Who Went On to Become Best Friends. The Real Housewives franchise is quite popular here in South Africa. Just like in other countries, South African participants come through with the much needed drama, the elegance as well as anything that money can buy.
It first started with the Real Housewives of Johannesburg which ran for two seasons. This was followed by Real Housewives of Durban which is now on its 3rd season. We have also had Real Housewives of Cape Town and Real Housewives of Pretoria which have both aired one season. Currently running on 1Magic channel is Real Housewives of Gqhebera, which recently made its debut.
It really gets hectic in all of these shows, with cast members getting into verbal and physical fights at times. During the Tell-All episodes, there is more drama as secrets are unveiled, and people get to know who betrayed them in private. That is why at the end of every Tell-All, there are announcements about certain cast members not returning for the next season.
Despite all the drama, we have witnessed beautiful Sismances as friendships brewing from these shows. Some of these ladies bond so well, and extend their friendships beyond the show.
Nonku Williams and Jojo Robinson
From the Real Housewives of Durban, we have witnessed the beautiful friendship of Nonku and Jojo. The two ladies may not have hit it off from the get go, but as episodes went by they got close. Now they attend events together, are always in each other’s spaces and hype one another publicly on social media.
Nonkanyiso Conco and Mabusi Seme
Mabusi and LaConco became the friendship duo we never knew we needed. They have been with the show since the first season, but grew closer in season II. The two served us nothing but sisterhood vibes. According to Mabusi in one interview, even without cameras in sight, she and LaConco used to meet for coffee and have nice chats.
Lethabo Mathato and Mpumi Mops
Lethabo and Mrs Mops, became besties, thanks to joining season II of the Real Housewives of Johannesburg. The pair were the backbone of the season, bringing the much needed spice. Lethabo became known to tell off anyone not agreeing with her, while Mpumi was cheering on. They have kept their friendship tight even after the season came to an end.
