Minnie Dlamini Celebrates 23 Years of Friendship With Her Besties. As the saying goes, long time friendship is the most beautiful thing that can’t ever be replaced. Those kind of bonds are like jewels, polished over time to become beautiful and enduring.

Sadly, in this day and age, people outgrow each other very fast. Having noted that though, there are still people who can maintain friendships from childhood to adulthood. One of those is Minnie Dlamini, who is still close to her adolescence friends. She, Kyra Roberts and Nolifa have been friends for over two decades and are still going strong.

The celebrated media personality and actress took to social media to celebrate her girls. She also shared a cool story, of how supportive they have been from day one.

It was November 2002 we were all 12 years old. I had made the finals of Little Miss South Africa in Knysna and my two best friends decided they HAD to come to the finals with me.
It was just over a week of interviews, rehearsals, a proper pageant finals experience, meaning we would all miss school for this trip. (Once their parents agreed the school had no choice lol I mean we were all straight A students and it was the end of the year so it wasn’t going to make a difference to our grades)

Off to Knysna we went with my family to the finals. I completed and killed every prelim round with my two besties right by my side, like mini coaches at the side of a boxing ring.

The night of the finals I think they were more nervous than I was and refused to come backstage. They sat anxiously in the audience (so they tell me) not saying a word to each other or my mom lol 😂

At the end of the evening the announcer said “And the winner of Little Miss South Africa 2002 is… MinnieDlamini”

These two shits ran onto the stage in tears, elated that their bestie had won.
AND THEN… they both went on to grab and fight for my trophy ON STAGE 🤦🏾‍♀️🤣🙃🤷🏾‍♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
