Bonnie Mbuli Shares Her Experience on the Recent California Earthquake

Bonnie Mbuli Shares Her Experience on the Recent California Earthquake. Earthquakes don’t happen too often here in South Africa. In fact not so many people in the country have experienced one. In other countries abroad, it is a different case though.

Bonnie Mbuli, who is currently in California USA, recently experienced an earthquake. Taking to Twitter, Bonnie stated that she was woken by her bed shaking. Funny enough, she thought it was a ghost, and went on to sleep on her son’s bed. We are glad she and her family are OK.

America is one of the Top 7 countries in the world to likely experience an earthquake. Some parts of the west coast of the United States are located in the Pacific ring of fire, which makes the country vulnerable to earthquakes.

Experienced my first California earthquake two nights ago, i was woken up by my bed shaking, and yes I’m embarrassed to admit i thought it was a ghost shaking the bed , so i went to sleep in my sons room,” Bonnie said.

The award winning actress, author and TV personality is currently in the US, filming the series, The Driver. Bonnie plays the role of Shamiso Tongai, the Horse’s smart older sister. She is wary of strangers and protective of her family’s operation, which she’s intricately involved in with a voice that becomes more powerful as the story progresses.

The Driver stars Esposito as Vince, a taxi driver whose life is turned upside down when he agrees to chauffeur the New Orleans-based Zimbabwean gangster “The Horse” (Zackary Momoh). The Horse is a man notorious for exploiting undocumented immigrants at the U.S. southern ports.
