Master KG Responds to Reports That Nomcebo Zikode Is Suing His Label

Master KG Responds to Reports That Nomcebo Zikode Is Suing His Label. It’s always sad to witness strained relationships between our musicians. This is the case with Master KG and Nomcebo Zikode, who after making us jam to their Jerusalema hit, are now having a serious feud.

The song made waves across the globe. In almost every country, people took  and posted videos of themselves doing the Jerusalema Dance. Even international stars like Portugal football sensation, Cristiano Ronaldo, and American singer, Janet Jackson shared videos of gatherings where the Jerusalema Dance was the order of the day.

Sadly, the song that united the world, divided the two people responsible for it. There are reports that Master KG’s record label, Open Mic Production, has not paid Nomcebo any royalties for her contributions to the global hit single. Master KG denied the claims, stating that Nomcebo wants more than what they had agreed on.

“Agreement of Jerusalema is 50/50 between me and Nomcebo, but she wants 70% and I must get 30%,” he  said.

Now there is another issue between the two award winning musicians. Nomcebo is set to take Open Mic to court after her Grammy nominated single Bayethe was removed from Spotify. The hit song features other artists, Zakes Bantwini and Wouter Kellerman This apparently is the latest development in Open Mic Production’s ongoing campaign to control Nomcebo.

As the news of his company being sued, Master KG took to Twitter to set matters straight. He reckons that his label is called Wanitwa Mos Entertainment, hence the issue with Open Mic Production is outside his territory.

“Well my label is Called Wanitwa Mos Entertainment And it recently Dropped New fire EP Called Wanitwa Mos Exclusives please write about that..this one here is outside my Territory,” Master KG said.
