1 James Sithole was born and raised in KwaMhlanga in Mpumalanga Province.
2. After his schooling, he moved to Mamelodi in Pretoria zone 12. He then began harnessing his passion for acting, producing, writing and directing.
3. In 2012, James commenced his studies at the University of South Africa. That same year, the talented actor enrolled at Youth In Trust State Theatre to study Communication Arts and Films.
4. James later studied language practice. This is because he wanted to be a versatile actor as well as a translator.
5. Like many onscreen actors, James stated on theatre. He has experience in theatre production and directing, and performed in The Tragedy Of Samuel Omunye, written by the iconic writer, poet, artist, and performer Masai Sepuru.
6. In December 2021, he got his first TV role on Scandal! as Madala, a villain who pushes his businesses with criminal activities.
7. Madala was first introduced as Nhlamulo’s ex-boss, who came with a bone to pick after the other man ratted him out to the police. As time passed, his sinister ways started to show.
8. Now fresh from prison, Mdala wants to be start a new life and be a family man. At the moment he is unaware that Nhlamulo was the one who sold him out to the police. That is definitely going to change things should he find out.
