Thuso Sets the Record Straight About Her Age, Marital Status and Other Personal Stuff. Being a public figure is a two double edged sword. On the other hand you enjoy the fringe benefits of fame, and on another some aspects of your life are exposed to the public.

Thuso Mbedu, who is known internationally knows this very well. The multi-award winning actress has played lead roles in major international productions, impressing millions of people around the world. By virtue of this, Thuso constantly makes headlines on various forms of media like print, broadcast and social media. She bags interviews, where she gets to speak about both her professional and personal life.

Sadly, just like many stars out there, there is false information spread about Thuso in the media. Unfortunately so many people run with whatever they read or hear, and end up making their own conclusions. There has been speculations about her age and marital status among other things. Thuso has thus taken to Twitter to set things straight about that aspect of her life.

She has revealed that she is an unmarried woman of 31 years of age, with no child. Thuso however has nieces, who se helps to parent, and loves them like they are hers.

“Seeing as people like to tweet with their chests Yes, I’m 31 No, I’m not married No, I don’t have children that have come from my uterus but my nieces call me “mam’ncane” (younger mother) because that’s how we do it in the Zulu culture &I love them like their mine As you were,” she clarified.
