Pearl Shongwe’s Funeral Details Shared. It doesn’t get more real than this. A week and a few days later, many are still battling to come to terms with the passing away of Ntombifuthi Pearl Shongwe. Sadly, we all need to accept her passing and celebrate the amazing life she lived.

The 8th of November, will forever be a date that many people will rather not want to remember. This is the day when Pearl was found dead inside her Waterfall apartment. According to reports, she was discovered lying face down in her bed by her neighbors. Since then tributes have been pouring in for the media personality and lover of life.

Her colleagues at Metro FM and Daily Thetha led the way to celebrate the amazing personality that was Pearl. The likes of Mo Flva, Tbo Touch, DJ Fresh, Owen Hannie, Melanie Bala, Melody Mia among others found the courage to speak about their late colleague. Two days ago Metro FM organized a memorial service in honor of Pearl at the SABC studios. Several media personalities got the chance to speak highly of her, and once again, the public appreciated the gem that she was.

Tomorrow (Saturday 19th November) Pearl will be laid to rest. According to a notice that has been shared on social media, she will be laid to rest at Nasrec Memorial Park. The service will start at 08:00 at Welfare Centre Diepkloof Zone 1.
