Nathaniel Junior Oliphant Reflects Back to Appreciate the Support He Has Been Getting. He is one of the child stars who remained consistent in this tough r. Nathaniel Junior Oliphant has successfully transitioned to playing adult roles, and is very good at what he does.

The talented and versatile actor burst in the industry this at the tender age of 12. He scored his first acting gig in the local hit movie , Beat the Drum, where he played the lead role of Musa. His other films include The Wooden Camera (2003), Country of my Skull (2004) in which he played Samuel L. Jackson’s son, Red Dust (2004) as well as Madiba and The Trail (2006).

Nathaniel also starred as Themba Manyani in the SABC2 mini-series Hopeville, from March to April, 2009. He then played Qiniso “Q” Cele, a single student who is introverted and an old soul computer whizz studying and majoring in business studies, in Zabalaza. Junior also starred as Jabu Sithole in the 2006 TV movie The Good Provider, the second of eight films in the Heartlines series. These are just some of the roles he played over the years.

Unfortunately, it got a bit dry for the award winning actor and he was left without work for some months. Nathaniel was lucky enough as he got cast to play Mpho on Generations: The Legacy, a role he has been holding for some time now.

He has just taken to Twitter to appreciate his journey in the industry, as well as appreciate those who have shown him massive support.

“Looking back at how far I’ve come, I’m mad grateful for your support over the years. Thank you for supporting the boi. I appreciate y’all,” Nathaniel said.
