One person who has just tasted the pleasure of staying alone is Bahumi Mhlongo. The talented actress and reality show star revealed on social media that this is her first time staying on her own. Bahumi is already enjoying the benefits of not having housemates, and she shared them with her followers. One perk she is grateful for is the fact that she cooks for one person.
“So first time staying alone & I must say the best thing about it rn is cooking for one person,” Bahumi said.
Bahumi is among the child stars who came into the limelight when they were relatively young. Most people know her as Zola in the telenovela Keeping Score. In 2019, she starred in Dream: The Lebo Mathosa Story, the first African biopic by BET Africa. She has also appeared on Living the Dream with Somizi, her father’s reality show.
Her parents Somizi Mhlongo and Palesa Madisakwane are also famous in their own right. Somizi needs no introduction as he has tapped into various aspects of the entertainment industry including TV and radio presenting, acting, choreography, music, fashion and so forth.
Palesa is known for featuring in Generations, eKasi: Our Stories, The River, The Estate, and IsiBaya. Bahumi is also blessed that her late paternal grandparents were famous. She is the granddaughter of the iconic entertainers, Ndaba Walter Mhlongo and Mary Twala.
