This year she is back on a mission and is already making her mark in the singing competition. She gave a lot of herself with her performance of Jennifer Hudson’s ‘Giving Myself’ as she cemented her position as one of the Top 10 contestants.
The talented vocal powerhouse, left the audience on their feet, including judge Somizi Mhlongo. He couldn’t help but jump on stage to give her a special “whoo-shem!” an expression he reserves for flawless performances.
Now Nozi has just gotten another major compliment. The owner of the song, Jennifer Hudson, has just seen the performance, and she is impressed. The multi-award winning singer and actress went to her social media accounts to express just how flawless the performance was. According to Jennifer, if was in the audience, she would have thrown a shoe at Nozi, an expression done to show that one definitely killed a song.
“OK I’m a little late but yal need to hear this ! Nozi on @idolssa performed my song “Giving Myself.” If I was there she would have caught a shoe ! 👠 She did that !!!,” Jennifer said.
