Thandiswa Mazwai Respond to Fans Saying She is Among the Rudest Local Celebrities

Thandiswa Mazwai Respond to Fans Saying She is Among the Rudest Local Celebrities. The relationship between celebrities and their fans is a very special one. Celebrities like Bonang Matheba, even have fan bases with their own Instagram accounts. A perfect example will also be the Big Brother Mzansi Season III contestants who always trend on social media thanks to their loyal fans.

Sadly, there are many instances where celebrities and some members of the general public don’t go along. Fans are quick to cancel a celeb when they have done despicable acts like being sexists, gender based violence and just nasty attitude. We have seen the likes of Jub Jub, MacG, Somizi, Katlego Maboe, Bishop I. Makamu and so many others, almost fumble the bag, because of how the public reacted to their conduct.

Sometimes though like in the case of Thandiswa Mazwai, it is how celebs interact with fans. Michael Bucwa, popularly know as Mr Smeg took to Twitter to unpack this kind of incidents. The social media influencer asked his followers to name the rudest celebrity in the country. As names dropped, Thandiswa was also mentioned by some fans. One in particular stated that their interactions with the multi-award winning songstress were unpleasant.

Instead of wanting to clap back to the fan like a number of celebs would do, Thandiswa gave a rather beautiful response. She started off by apologizing, saying she is not really used to fame.

Askies boy. Fame is such a strange thing, I never ever got used to it. But I love you, we are here being human together so in many ways I need you. Take it easy. Next time be gentle with me and remember I may be going through my own things…and I will remember the same for you,” Thandiswa said.
