Drip CEO Lekau Sehoana Apologizes As Old Distasteful Tweets About Jacob Zuma Resurface. Our personalities needs to understand that once you taste fame, you have to clean your social media platforms. Quite a number of them have been judged harshly based on what they used to share on social media when they didn’t know better.
Back in April, tweeps dug out DBN Gogo‘s tweets which dates as far back as 2010, where she dragged other people over their outfits. She said not so nice things about Bonang Matheba, Boity Thulo, Dr Rebecca Malope, Sonia Mbele, Kesha and Kim Kardashian. With that information, they gave the DJ a taste of her own medicine by dissing the outfit she wore at The Real Housewives of Lagos premier party.
In September 2021 Tshepi Vundla found herself in a hot soup when a clip of her bashing women who financially depend on men emerged. Those who disagreed with her even went to the extend of digging out her old tweets, where she was mean to fat people. This led Tshepi to deactivate her account as being dragged was a lot to handle.
Another personality is in trouble thanks to old tweets. Lekau Sehoana in 2012, said some not so nice things about the then president, Jacob Zuma. The Drip Footwear founder wasn’t keen on listening to Zuma talk about business because he knows corruption only. He also posted a hectic tweet urging other to assassinate Zuma.
But what do we know, 10 years later, the very same Zuma has been spotted rocking a pair of Drip sneakers. One tweep did the honors of digging the old tweets, where Lekau was dissing the former president before he became his customer.
At first Lekau apologized but said that wasn’t him tweeting, as he bought the account in 2019. Well, more information was dugout, and he had no choice but to apologize. He blocked the whistleblower, and then locked his Twitter account. Hectic!
