Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng Offers to Sponsor Young Maths Genius Sibahle Zwane. Now this is what we call great leadership. Professor Maomkgethi Phakeng has just shown how passionate she is about young people getting an education by coming through for a young mathematics wizz.
From the age of 10, Sibahle Zwane, could calculate numbers offhand without using a calculator or any aid. Ever since then the young boy has been making waves for his capabilities, bagging interviews on major news channels and publications. Because of his extraordinary and rare talent for his age Sibahle has now caught the attention of international media.
The now 14 year old has made it on the Africa Facts Zone social media pages. As this is Africa’s biggest facts brand and the world’s most up-to-date facts platform, Sbahle is now trending with so many people wishing nothing but greatness for him. Among them is Professor Phakeng who wants to get in contact with Sibahle to help him advance his studies at the University of Capetown. The UCT Vice Chancellor, has pledged to pay for Sbahle for him to study further at the university.
“Help me get the details of this brilliant Math genius, I’d like to help him study at @UCTOnlineHigh School. His talent cannot be passed by! I want to pay for his studies to make it possible for him to access good education to enable him to use his talent to change the world,” Professor Phakeng said.
