Twitter Reacts to Thuli Phongolo’s Booking Fee

Twitter Reacts to Thuli Phongolo’s Booking Fee. A number of our local female celebrities deejay as a side hustle. The likes of Lerato Kganyago, Dineo Ranaka, Ayanda Thabethe, Mapule Mafole, Anele Zondo and Pinky Girl have ventured into this side of the industry, and they are booked and busy. They have joined women who have taken up the job as their first choice career, thus increasing the number of female DJs in this male dominated industry.

These DJs have to work extra hard, to be accepted in the industry by their male counterparts as well as people out there. Sadly, because most of them are IT-girls, they are forever judged, and dragged compared to male DJs. One female DJ, who is always judged all the time on social media is Thuli Phongolo.

The talented actress, business woman, public figure and influencer has been a DJ for a couple of years now.Thuli was mentored by the late Khombela Nhleko, popularly known as DJ Khomza, who has also mentored the successful DJ Shimza. She has been bagging so many gigs of recent, which can only mean that she is doing something right.

Entertainment blogger, Musa Khawula, has just revealed how much it costs for a person to have Thuli DJ at their do. She charges R20 000 per hour, and her flights have to be with Fly SAA or British Airways and she and her manager must fly business class. Transport must be available as soon as she lands and transports her back to the airport. The accommodation must strictly be a hotel and it should be a five-star.
