Lira Updates on Her Health 3 Months After Suffering Stroke. The most important thing to any musician out there, is their voice. That is why is was such sad news to hear Lira announce that she suffered a stroke while performing in Germany. The stroke affected her ability to communicate, thus she could not do any gig until she recovered.
A month ago, the multi-award winning songstress and The Voice SA judge shared an update regarding her health, on social media. Lira started by thanking her well wishers for the love, support and prayers. On her recovery, she stated that she was making major significant progress daily. Nonetheless, Lira stated that she was still going to take some time off so she can focus on getting back to good health.
It has been three months now since she fell ill, and there is so much progress. Sharing once again with her fans and followers, Lira has nothing but gratitude to God as well as her well wishers. Her fans will be happy to know that Lira can talk now, and she is able to read and write.
“Yesterday marked 3 months since I had a stroke. I’ve made such awesome progress- I’m proud of myself and I give thanks to God. Your prayers have been massively appreciated.
I can talk now, although I need a little patience. I can read and I can write.
