ICYMI! Camilla Waldman Pays Touching Tribute to Her Late Ex Husband Jamie Bartlett. It has been almost two weeks since the sudden passing away of Jamie Bartlet. He took his last breath on Monday afternoon the 23rd of May 2022, after suffering a cardic arrest while in his sleep.
Industry peers as well as his fans in South Africa and beyond, were shocked over the actor’s passing. For a number of day, the award winning veteran actor and TV personality trended on social media as tributes poured in. Jamie was remembered for his character as David Genaro on e.tv soapie, Rhythm City. Genaro was the worst villain, but Bartlett brought humor, class and power to the character. He won a SAFTA award for best actor for the Genaro role.
One of those people, who will remember Bartlett to times indefinite is Camilla Waldman. The former Generations actor, was married to Bartlett, and the two share a son, Hector. Camilla shared a throwback picture of herself with Bartlett and their son, which is the only family portrait of the three.
