Today Zakes Bantwini is celebrating his birthday, and Nandi seized the opportunity to tell the world, what kind of man she scored for herself. The award winning musician, TV personality and actress credits her husband Zakes for teaching her a lot, most particularly what it means to be spiritually aligned with the universe.
Case in point Nandi mentioned the time when Zakes was writing and producing his smash hit single, Osama. She states that Zakes always told her that he felt so connected to the to the spiritual world and wanted that to reflect in the song.
“Happy birthday to a man who has really taught me what it means to be absolutely spiritually aligned with the universe. I remember you were writing and producing Osama and were on a fast at the time, you kept telling me that you felt so connected to the spiritual world and wanted that to reflect in your new music,” Nandi said.
Nandi also mentioned that Zakes drew inspiration for the song from their three-year old daughter Queen Nefertiti. At the time the couple had just received her diagnosis for being autistic, and Zakes was so happy saying he always knew she was special and smart.
“I have learnt from you that success is happiness, peace and contentment and not tangible things. Being spiritually rich is the most rewarding form of wealth for you and that is why I love you! God continue to bless you and your beautiful, selfless heart. To a Musical Genius and my husband happy birthday Zakhele Madida,” Nandi added.
