Lala Tuku Bids Farewell to Clive Morris Productions and Announces Her New Job. Now this is how one moves. Immediately after bidding farewell to Clive Morris Productions, Lala Tuku has moved on to greener pastures.
Lala, who has been working as the MD and executive producer at Clive Morris Productions for five years has left the company. The talented actress, television presenter, director, producer, vocal coach and events entrepreneur ended her journey with CMP on the 31st of May 2022. According to Dom Gumede (Chief Operating Officer at the production company), Lala’s contribution has been incredible and he consider it a personal privilege to have worked with her so closely over the last five years.
Because of her experience, talent and dedication already has another top job. She just announced that she is an official member of the SABC family. Lala will be on the SABC Portal as head of local content. According to her statement, this role will be for her to further strengthen and drive the strategic direction for local content.
“The National Broadcaster remains an important entity and the voice for the people of South Africa. With a critical mandate to elevate and become a catalyst for local content by telling compelling, informative, and entertaining content.
I have no doubt that my passion for local content and the industry will contribute immensely to this vision,” Lala said.
After her announcement, Lala was then congratulated by industry peers such as, Carol Bouwer, Melanie Bala, Penny Lebyane, Salamina Mosese Winnie Ntshaba, Bridgette Masinga, Dineo Langa, Kayise Ngqula and many others.
