Your first job will always hold a special place in your heart, because from it you got your first salary as well as experience. It also shows that someone believed in you and your capabilities

A number of our celebrities always share the kind of jobs they used to do back in the day before fame. The likes of Zenande Mfenyana, Sizwe Dhlomo, Kgomotso Christopher and so many other have opened up about their first jobs before pursuing careers in the entertainment industry. As much as some didn’t pay that much, these jobs are forever in the memories of our stars.

Another one of our stars, Nolwazi Ngubeni, has just opened up about her first TV gig. The talented actress is known for many roles including, Precious, a character she played in the second season of the SABC1 drama series A Place Called Home. She played the role from 2008-2009. This was her first TV gig, which she will ever be grateful for.

“Still one of the best characters I played. My first TV gig. I had such an amazing time on this set. Still grateful to TOM Pictures,” Nolwazi gushed.

After this role, Nolwazi bagged quite a number of TV gigs. She was cast as Zinhle (a guest-starring role) in season 3 of the SABC1 drama series Mtunzini.com. Nolwazi also plays Sibongile Dlamini in Mzansi Magic’s Mzali Wam. She is also killing her new role as Lady M in e.tv’s Scandal! Lady M is married to Jojo Kubeka, played by Melusi Mbele, and their marriage has a challenge of infertility.
