1. Nolwazi Ngubeni was born on the 19th of January 1984 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal

2. She has always been a performer from a young age. Nolwazi then decided to study performance in university, and she credits the Drama department at Durban University of Technology for opening doors for her.

3. The talented actress is known for her role as Precious in the second season of the SABC1 drama series A Place Called Home. She played the role from 2008-2009.

4. She then landed another role that many television viewers seem to refer to. Nolwazi was cast as Zinhle (a guest-starring role) in season 3 of the SABC1 drama series Mtunzini.com.

5. Nolwazi also plays Sibongile Dlamini in Mzansi Magic’s Mzali Wam. Sibongile, stole a child from a vulnerable woman outside a hospital and raised the child as her own. She nurtured Ntokozo until 20 years later when by fate Ntokozo came across her biological mother while job hunting in Johannesburg.

6. She is also killing her new role as Lady M in e.tv’s Scandal! Lady M is married to Jojo Kubeka, played by Melusi Mbele, and the two are battling to come to terms with a recent miscarriage.

7. Besides acting, she has other talents too. Nolwazi is the casting brain-child behind Mzansi Magic’s hit drama series, Abomama starring the likes of Nokuthula Ledwaba, Khanyi Mbau, Joyce Skefu, Don Mlangeni Nawa and Kenneth Nkosi.

8. She is also a gifted singer of note. Before even venturing into acting, Nolwazi was trained as a singer growing up. This is something that she got from her family. Her singing voice has fascinated people around her since she was in primary school.

9. Nolwazi is a taken woman and has been married to Mzwandile Ngubeni for five years. The couple have been together for 10 years and recently held a wedding ceremony to celebrate their union with family and friends.
