Mark Pilgrim Gives An Update On His Health Following the Return of Cancer. Over the past couple of days, fans have been concerned over the kind of content he shared on his social media platforms. It was quite evident that something was not right with Mark Pilgrim. He has finally opened up to reveal that he has been diagnosed with cancer once again.

Back in 1988, the award winning veteran radio personality was diagnosed with stage 4 testicular cancer. He was 18 at the time, and the cancer spread to his lungs and kidneys. Mark had nine months of intense chemo sessions lasting up to four hours a session and lucky for him, he had a supportive and loving family that helped him pull through.

Sadly the cancer is back again, and Mark took to social media to update his followers on his current health status. He started by thanking everyone who sent him kind messages of support over the past couple of days. Mark also stated that he is awaiting a PET scan, which will show the full extent of whats going on.

Mark also expressed gratitude to his radio family at Hot1027 , who have been amazingly supportive. “My pledge to you is that as long as I have the strength to climb the 3 flights of stairs at the studio and do a good show, I’ll be there on air, having a laugh and keeping each other company with some good tunes,” he said.

A year ago, Mark beat Covid-19. We are even more confident that just like he did 33 years ago, Mark will also beat cancer this time around.
