Carol Bouwer Sends Dr Esther Mahlangu a Comforting Message After She Was Violently Attacked and Robbed. When it comes to criminals in this day and age, they know no limit. They do not care about the state they leave you in, as long as they got what they wanted from you. 87-year-old Dr Esther Mahlangu, can attest to this, as she was recently attacked at her home by a brutal criminal.
The incident took place this past Saturday evening when an unknown man broke into Dr Mahlangu’s house in Siyabuswa near Kwamhlanga. The world-renowned painter was robbed of her personal firearm as well as an undisclosed amount of cash. It goes without saying that a woman of her age, cannot give a robber a hard time, but sadly the criminal also assaulted the iconic Dr Mahlangu.
Currently the man who attacked and robbed Dr Mahlangu is still at large and the police in Mpumalanga are still searching for him. Immediately after the disturbing news broke, a lot of disappointed people took to social media to vent. They wonder, how someone can want to hurt an 87 year old woman, who probably doesn’t have the strength to fight robbers.
Carol Bouwer, who is close to Mama Mahlangu also took to social media to say something about the incident. In 2020, the two collaborated, to create luxury bags, to celebrate the heritage of South Africa. Instead of paying attention to the criminal, the Carol instead sent a message of comfort to Dr Mahlangu.
