Muvhango Distances Itself From Fake Auditions Advert

Muvhango Distances Itself From Fake Auditions Advert. With a high unemployment rate mostly among young people and a high cost of living, scammers are now on the rise. They do everything they can to lure unsuspecting victims with fake jobs. We all need to be vigilant out there when job searching so that we don’t get swindled of our money, or worse be victims of human trafficking and any hectic situation.

Having noted that, Muvhango has just warned their fans and followers of a fake audition advert made using their name. According to the advert the SABC2 drama is looking for hundreds of young talented actors to join them. The auditions are said to be taking place on the 20th of February at Carnival City Hotel. Muvhango has distanced itself from the advert, and added that they will never ask money to cast potential actors.

“Kindly note that this is fake news! #Muvhango is not currently casting and we will never request money to cast anyone,” Muvhango issued out a warning.

For some reason,it looks like these scammers target mostly people who want to make it in the entertainment industry. They use prominent production houses, modeling companies, music studios among other things to attract young people. Companies such as Ferguson Films, are among those who constantly warn social media users of scammers posing as them.
