Imbewu Announces Their Latest Cast Member. When an actor leaves a show for whatever reasons, the storyline still has to move either way. Some productions write off character from the show either having it killed or just disappearing. In some instances, the actor is replaced with another one, and the show goes on.
Back in January, Imbewu: The Seed viewers were saddened to learn that one of the lead actors on the show was leaving. Nkanyiso Mchunu, who played the role of Nkululeko Bhengu has left Imbewu and rumor has it that it was due to salary disagreements. On his farewell post on Facebook, Mchunu thanked the production as well as everyone who supported him while he was on the show.
Although this is sad news to many, at least it is consolation enough that Mchunu will be replaced by another talented and loved actor, Kay Sibiya. Kay makes his debut this week on Wednesday February 16th, where he will be investigating the murder case regarding his mother’s death. He is also on the brink of finding out the shocking news.
Kay’s impressive work speaks for itself, and it goes without saying that he will nail the role. The talented actor has been on so many show, among them Generations: The Legacy where he played Jack Mabaso’s brother and journalist, Siyanda. Kay has also been cast on other major shows like Uzalo, The Queen, Showmax’s The Wife to mention just a few.
