Pearl Modiadie Gushes Over Her New Acting Gig. 2022 has kicked off with a variety of TV shows. Some are coming for another season, while others are making a debut. This means more work opportunities for actors and those in the entertainment industry at large.
One person who has bagged a role in one of these shows is Pearl Modiadie. The media personality and actress has bagged a role on the 1Magic new romantic comedy drama, Entangled. Pearl will play Andiswa which is her first major acting role. The storyline folows Sharon, an overachiever in her 30s who is on the verge of marrying the love of her life, Sizwe. However, her ex, Julius, suddenly resurfaces after many years, and that threatens everything Sharon and Sizwe have built.
Entangled boasts the likes of Phuti Khomo who has been cast as Sharon. Vuyo Ngcukana who plays Schumacer on The Queen will assume the role of Sizwe, while the hunky Vuyo Dabula plays Julius. Suppoting actors include Senzo Radebe, who plays Reggie, award-winning comedian Mpho Popps as Zweli, award-winning actress Didie Makobane playing Zenani and Tessa Twala will take on the role of Tshepi.
