Nursing Internship Opportunities At Philips

Philips SA is looking for bright young talent for its Internship Programme. Have you completed your theoretical studies and are you in need of practical workplace experience or Work Integrated Learning (WIL)? Then you could be what we are looking for!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and Demonstrate knowledge and clinical competence with selected PCMS products and solutions, including troubleshooting and equipment issues.
  • Assist with preparation of presentations, product papers, and relevant tools relating to Training Solutions to be rolled out to the market.
  • Assist in aassessing customer training and education needs and planning learning activities based on customer needs.
  • Assist and deliver customer Training and provide go-live support upon installation.
  • Apply adult learning principles in delivery of training and education.
  • Utilize a variety of learning methods and authorized training tools.
  • Maintain records in accordance with established procedures.
  • Learn from and work with installation team to ensure the clinical accuracy of the systems that are installed.
  • Learn and understand Clinical Workflow within area of practice
  • Assist Sales Team in Clinical and Application knowledge related to PCMS Solutions
  • Stay current on product, services, IT and industry trends so as to offer the best in class education for customers.
  • Becomes as active member of the Community of Practice for solution architecture.
  • Provide input to leadership on internal training needs.
  • Assist in identifying opportunity for additional sales and collaborate with sales team to provide solution to meet customer’s need.
  • Participate in internal projects or initiatives.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Nursing or equivalent in allied health discipline.
  • Knowledge of clinical workflow within domain.
  • Exposure or experience in delivering clinical training.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal guidance.
  • High-level professional demeanor and interpersonal communications skills; superb writing skills in local language and English.
  • Strong collaboration skills in a multinational environment.
  • Exposure or experience in working with computer science, information sciences and informatics theory.
  • Exposure or experience in delivering clinical training.
  • Possess strong analytical and Problem Solving skills.
  • Minimum a Code B drivers€™ license.

The individual will be working as part of the business development and strategy team, located at the Philips offices in Woodmead in Johannesburg , with infrequent travel.
