So many people know Lawrence Maleka as Zolani on The River, where he comes across as this uncivil guy, who is his aunt’s lap dog. The talented TV host and actor has been in the industry for close to 15 years. Lawrence started as presenter of The Gadget Show on community TV station Soweto TV, in 2009. At the same station, also hosted a number of other shows, including Ziyamporomo and Street Radio. As he grew in the industry, Lawrence got to host major shows like, Clash of the Choirs South Africa, Star Gist, Lotto Powerball, Club 808, and The Final Cut. He also played the role of Don Webster on Mzansi Magicβs soapie iSibaya.
Lawrence has just himself bagged another cool presenting gig and we are here for it. He is the host of Big Brother Mzansi as it returns after 7 years of absence. On Sunday evening, the reality show made its much anticipated debut with participants being introduced to viewers and meeting each other for the first time.
