Eskom is offering an exciting Graduate in Training (GIT) internship for 20 candidates in Procurement and Supply Chain Management at their Sunninghill location. This program is designed to develop foundational skills in procurement, supply chain operations, and contract management. Participants will gain practical exposure to purchasing goods and services, managing procurement administration, and supporting the strategic objectives of the Corporate Procurement department at Megawatt Park. The internship provides a structured environment for graduates to apply academic knowledge in real-world procurement processes while building professional competencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute integrated sourcing and procurement processes following prescribed procedures
• Perform purchasing of goods and services while managing procurement administration
• Participate in dual adjudication of tenders and manage contracts and purchase orders within set policies and standards
• Consult with supervisors to identify risks, manage problems, and make recommendations
• Negotiate and coordinate agreements with suppliers to meet customer expectations
• Build and maintain strong interpersonal and inter-team relationships
• Access and analyse procurement information independently to support decision-making
