Moja Love TV Suspends Jub Jub
Moja Love TV Suspends Jub Jub. As rape and abuse allegations continue to drop in, many have been waiting for Moja Love TV Channel to say something. This is because Jub Jub is one of their star employees who presented hit shoes like Uthando Noxolo, Uyajola 9/9 as well as You Promised to Marry Me.
So far tow female celebrities have come forth claiming that Jub Jub raped them at some point while they were dating. Amanda du-Pont and Masechaba Khumalo, took to social media to share horrific stories of how they were sexually assaulted by the media personality and rapper, the time that they were dating. Because of the power that Jub Jub’s mother had, it was not easy to speak out. After sharing these stories, both these two media personalities, as well as Jub Jub and his mother trended on Twitter, with different opinions doing the rounds.
All that was left was for Moja Love to make a statement. The controversial TV channel, started by distancing itself from the interview that Jub Jub did on Podcast and Chill with MacG. Moja Love stated that he was there on his personal capacity and they are not associated with the content he shared. Furthermore, the station said they do not condone gender based violence in any way, thus they have taken it upon themselves to suspend Jub Jub.
This is not the first time the channel had an employee who had to step down after being involved in a controversial issue. Earlier this year, Bishop I Makamu had to step down as Rea Tsotella host. This came after a viral recording between Makamu and an unidentified woman had many asking questions.
On the audio, there was a voice of a man that many have concluded is of the Rea Tsotella presenter. The man seems like he is asking a church congregant for a sexual favor. After the lady gave the man her physical address, he wanted reassurance that no one will see him, and that the lady was alone. He repeatedly asks her if she “will give him,” and the woman giggles whilst maintaining her decision of not giving him what he is asking for.
It seems as if the issue was solved by the parties involved, as Makamu is now back on the show. Could the same go for Jub Jub? Will we see him again doing what many love him for? We remain to see.
