Over the weekend Thando and Lunga, took part in Ride Joburg, which is one of biggest annual celebration of cycling in South Africa. Both of them took on the 97km and although the cycling was not easy, they finished what they started. For this accomplishment, Thando thanked her boyfriend Lunga, her colleague Alex Caige, Lerato Höffele, Ride Joburg, as well as everyone who cheered them on this mental challenge of a race.
“So proud of this girl…yes I’m talking about myself in the 3rd person!!! Because I am THAT girl! Up until I started i had no plan to finish the 97KMS , but truth is…I never start what I can’t finish! ???,” Thando captioned her picture.
For his side, Lunga defined the race as a painful but amazing and fun experience. With less than a month of owning a bike, the actor and TV personality finished the 97km race in 3:58:34.
