ICYMI! Lunga Shabalala Makes His Debut On Legacy. In this industry when one door closes, even bigger doors open. This is the case with Lunga Shabalala. Many were saddened when he left Mzansi Magic telenovela, The River in November 2020. This was Lunga’s first ever acting gig since he stepped onto the entertainment industry back in 2011.
The talented actor, model and TV personality, played the character of Lindani in the multi award winning telenovela. He is one of the cast members who started with The River a few years back. On the show, Lindani was in an on and off relationship with Tumi (Larona Moagi), who also left The River recently.
Lunga has now bagged himself a role on another banging show, Legacy. He plays the interesting character of Simangaliso ‘Sims’ Zulu in the M-Net telenovela. Sims is the son of the overly-ambitious Msizi played by Siyabonga Thwala. Lunga acts alongside talented actors such as Michelle Botes, Kgomotso Christopher, Sean-Marco Vorster, Trix Vivier and Mary-Ann Barlow.
