K Naomi on How She Almost Became a Crime Victim in a Major Retail Store. As the festive season approaches, crime grows at an alarming rate. Shopping malls have been identified as places where all sorts of crimes occur. Thieves target shoppers who are distracted and somehow steal their banking cards and phones. Before these victims can realize it, all the money in their accounts is gone.

K Naomi almost became a victim of this sort of crime. The model and TV personality took to Twitter to share the story of what happened to her while she was shopping at Woolworths. K Naomi was lucky enough to notice that one woman was trying to take her phone out of her handbag.

“Ladies please watch your handbags for pickpocketers! Watched some lady try take my phone out my handbag at Woolies,” K Naomi shared her story.

After K Naomi confronted the woman, she said that she was only trying to move her trolley. Immediately after sharing her story a couple of people including Thembisa Nxumalo also shared theirs. According to Thembisa, the same thing happened to her sister in another Woolworths store. Luckily her sister acted swiftly and the thieves could not access her accounts. The award winning media personality and actress stated that this is an entire syndicate as the staff works with these criminals.
