702 Bids Farewell to Azania Mosaka

702 Bids Farewell to Azania Mosaka. This coming Friday will be the last listeners will get to hear their favorite show, The Azania Mosaka Show, which deals mainly with contemporary lifestyle issues. Radio 702 has just released a statement that they have part ways with the host, Azania Mosaka.

Azania has been on radio for 20 years and at 702 for 6 years and she will be missed by both listeners and the station. Since being with 702, she has shown a unique way of tackling burning issues such as university protests and has brought her own take to the ongoing discussions about higher education transformation.

As they say, all good things must come to an end. After twenty years of radio, I am stepping away from the microphone to pick up the active citizenry baton through my NGO, Peo Impact Gardens in Soweto. My next includes supporting four pillars in our communities: Health – through our vegetable garden, Body and Soul – through our breathwork offering and Mind – via the library program. I look forward to moving into a space of implementation, physically and actively doing community outreach and to use my voice to raise the profile of communities in need. I have so loved my time at 702 and will miss our loyal listeners,” said Azania.

Fans don’t really have to worry too much, because they will now be in the capable hands of Relebogile Mabotja. The talented media personality, TV producer and actress has just announced that she is coming back to the 702 family. She will host a new show, 702 Afternoons with Relebogile Mabotja starting from Monday 22 November from 1 to 3pm weekdays.
