10 Interesting Facts About Generations: The Legacy’s Refilwe Madumo. She is one of the most consistent actresses currently killing it on TV. Although this industry is tough, more so for female veterans, Refilwe Madumo has held her own, and continues to be relevant. 1. Refilwe Madumo graduated from Tshwane University of Technology.

2. A lot of people know Refilwe for her starring role as Thembi on the television sitcom Mazinyo Dot Q.

3. Her breakthrough though, came when she played the role of an HIV-positive Palesa Mooki- Letswalo on e.tv hit drama, Scandal!

4. Refilwe has guest starred on shows like Izoso Connexion, as well as One Way. She also played the role of Zanele in the SABC1 drama series Society, returning for its second season in 2009.

5. In 2008 Refilwe, played Ruth in the SABC2 miniseries Huis van Liefde, and in 2015 she had a starring role as Dorah in the SABC2 family drama series Mamello.

6. At the moment, Refilwe is part of the Generations: The Legacy cast. She plays the role of Fikile, who is Lucy Diale’s childhood friend.

7. Fikile’s character represents a rich, classy, divorced single mother of two who earned her riches from a divorce settlement. She has a jewellery business and owns shares in Moroka Media.

8. In addition to her on-screen role, which portrays abuse survival and women emancipation, Refilwe carries the same teaching off-screen. She is involved in community development projects, including rehabilitation facilities and providing a haven for Gender-Based Violence victims.

9. Refilwe is a mother of two adorable sons. She lives a very private life and it is not known who her baby daddy is.

10. A few years ago, she was threatened with rape during an armed robbery at her parents’ home in front of her children. Luckily the police arrived when they did, and arrested the man. He is now serving 50 years in prison.
