Twitter Reacts to Boity Allegedly Asking R1million from Bujy Bikwa. Beginning of this month, a sad incident which ended up with Bujy Bikwa assaulting Boity Thulo at Courtyard Hotel in Midrand took place. A picture of an injured Boity being taken to hospital trended on various social media platforms. This led to Bujy spending a week in police custody, after Boity laid assault charges on him. He was released after paying a R2 000 bail.
After his release, Bujy released a statement saying that he felt victimized as he was not given the opportunity to relay his side of the story. The former radio presenter now podcaster also revealed that he was verbally abused by Boity on the night, which led to him unintentionally throwing a glass at Boity out of frustration. He has also opened a counter case of common assault for being physically attacked.
It looks like Boity is not taking this lying down though. According to City Press, the media personality and award winning rapper has allegedly asked Bujy for R1,2 million as part of a settlement agreement relating to an assault charge she laid against him. The R1million is basically for the loss of work due to her injury and the R200 000 is for her medical bills.
This has led to a major discussion on Twitter, with some people agreeing with the amount Boity us asking fir, whereas others think it’s just ridiculous.

Boity is a brand and her face is what sells.Who knows how many brands were lined up to work with her but had to cancel because of all this..her break from social platforms is costly..the bottle hit her face which might need surgery and it isn't cheap..so its more than extortion.
