Jafta Mamabolo’s Film Comes to Showmax. Talk about reaching milestone after milestone. In May this year, Jafta Mamabolo’s film Freedom, hit the DStv Box-Office, which meant it was going to get all the exposure it deserves. The Film has just reached another milestone, and we are here for Jafta’s success.
“?ATTENTION!!! ?For everyone who missed my new film FREEDOM during its Box-Office run, #FreedomTheMovie will be streaming on @showmaxonline from 14th Oct’ 2021,” Jafta said.
Freedom was released in South Africa in late-2020 and was internationally released on Netflix. Part of the cast include talented actress, Samkelo Ndlovu. Jafta also stars in the titular role.
Jafta has been moving mountains this year. In June this year,he joined Ten10 as a Head of Development. According to VARIETY Magazine, his primary mandate is to expand the company’s Africa-focused entertainment slate. The first projects that Mamabolo will oversee include young adult series “Abel & Ashanti” with producer Bill Borden; the African-futuristic “Akebul-an Chronicles” with Fremantle; and a limited series based on the book “Call Me American”.
