“I’m so Broken,” Lasizwe on His Father’s Shell Garage Shop Getting Looted. Crime in this country escalates everyday. Now that we are nearing the festive seasons, criminals salvage anything they can get their hands on. From pick pocketing, house break-ins, robberies, car hijacking, looting and attacking shopping malls, criminals are everywhere all the time.
Often a times victims of crime take to social media to narrate their stories. Celebrities like TT MBha, Vusi Nova, Masechaba Khumalo, Dr Tumi, Shimza and so many others have at some point been robbed off their belongings by criminals. This goes on to show that, criminals don’t choose, they attack anyone at any given time.
The latest celebrity to be directly affected by crime is Lasizwe Dambuza. The YouTube content creator, reality TV star and media personality took to Twitter to express his sadness over the looting of his father’s Shell garage shop. In a since deleted thread, Lasizwe revealed that the looters took almost everything form flat screens to fridges.
“I’m so broken,” Lasizwe said.
Lasizwe’s father businessman Menzi Mcunu, passed away in September 2020. Before then, Lasizwe opened up about the complex relationship he has with his father. He took to Twitter to reveal that he has a resentment toward his father who hurt him at a young age. After some time though, the two made up, and Lasizwe was clearly shattered after Mcunu lost his battle to a long illness.
