adidas Cape Town Access City is seeking a Permanent Part-Timer to support day-to-day store operations while delivering exceptional customer service. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about retail, enjoy interacting with customers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Purpose and Relevance

The primary purpose of this position is to assist management with store maintenance and operations while ensuring all store policies and procedures are observed. The role contributes directly to enhancing the shopping experience and supporting sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of service to every customer.
• Complete sales transactions, including cash, credit, and checks.
• Assist with product ticketing and verify paperwork against deliveries.
• Support product flow from stockroom to sales floor as required.
• Help create and maintain merchandise displays based on management guidance.
• Gain proficiency with the point-of-sale system and maintain policy integrity.
• Use sales techniques, including add-on sales and technical product explanations, to meet sales goals.
• Greet and assist customers on the sales floor, occasionally serving as a front-door Greeter.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure store cleanliness.
• Safeguard company assets and participate in loss prevention measures.
• Complete in-store or digital training to enhance product knowledge and role effectiveness.
• Familiarize with Power BI tools to monitor store performance and product trends.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong passion for retail and customer service.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Clear, positive communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Previous fashion retail experience is an advantage but not essential.
