The Estate Moves To A New Channel. The show made its debut on Monday 05th April 2021, and since then it has taken the country by storm. From the storyline to the talented cast and devoted crew members, without a doubt The Estate is one of the best telenovelas in the country at the moment.

Some of the cast include, household names such as Don Mlangeni, Dineo Langa, Linda Sebezo, Sdumo Mtshali, Zenokuhle Maseko, Clementine Mosimane, Aubrey Poo, Matli Mohapelo and Lorcia Cooper. A week ago, the show which airs every weekday on SABC3 celebrated a whooping 100 episode. It was such a special moment for the team, and they took to social media to celebrate the milestone.

With a lot of shows mushrooming every now and then, the competition in the industry is quite intense. One minute the show is doing great, and the next minute the ratings go down. Some major shows have even been canned because the numbers were just not adding up. That is why the production team and everyone involved has to do anything they can to save the show. To increase their viewership, The Estate will now air on SABC1 as well.

The show will premiere on the channel on Monday 6 September at 19h30 from Mondays to Fridays. The current episodic run on SABC3 will remain as it is. Also the omnibus will remain on SABC3 Saturday from 10h30 to 13h00.

This is not a new thing in the history of South Africa shows. We have seen The River increasing their viewership by airing on Mzansi Magic channel, after premiering two season on 1Magic. Reality shows like Real Housewives of Johannesburg, Real Housewives of Durban, Being Bonang and so many have also done the same.
